FORM FOLLOWS GEOMETRY
Building on the Octahedral geometry I developed to create my modular stool, I adapted the angles and affordances to create a chair with a reclined posture. It was my aim to create a piece of work which appears to be complex, but has simple construction with minimal parts.
The five Baltic Birch triangles wrap around the two African Mahogany back and seat panels to offer structure and extended armrests.
