INVIGORATING THE CO-OP
The Co-op is the campus store and flagship of the University of Texas at Austin, so as they seek renovation it was important to revisit their brand mission of connecting the past, present and future generations of the university.
This mission is translated into the retail experience by expressing materials and technology to evoke settings of the past, present and future on specific floors.
As a means of emphasizing the connection of the three expressions of time, the materials are not restricted to their 'resident' floors, instead they occasionally reach into other floors and support the transition between the variety of spaces.
